Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Rafael, California. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of both financial and administrative processes within the company. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Streamline office procedures and implement workflows that enhance productivity and accountability.

Manage full-cycle payroll, including tax reporting and regulatory compliance.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate coding, timely processing, and proper approvals.

Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations; manage weekly deposits and cash flow tracking.

Coordinate maintenance schedules, work orders, and team calendars to optimize field operations.

Administer job costing and project coding for construction and maintenance projects, maintaining accurate financial tracking.

Supervise monthly billing for maintenance services, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation.

Maintain vendor relationships and payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements.

Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing responsive communication and efficient scheduling support.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in operations coordination, office management, or a related field; experience in construction or maintenance is a plus.

Skilled in payroll processing, accounts payable / receivable, and financial reconciliations.

Proven ability to lead administrative staff and manage day-to-day workflows efficiently.

Proficient with accounting software and financial systems.

Advanced Excel skills and strong command of Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
