Role Summary

We are seeking a highly leveraged, entrepreneurial Investor Relations Manager to drive new capital inflows, master our investor systems, and elevate our communications strategy. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in both financial systems and front-line capital raising, with the capability to scale investor relationships from accredited individuals to institutional partners within three years.

This is not a maintenance role. Its a growth-driving, revenue-impacting position with direct visibility to the CEO and COO.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investor Growth

  • Source, cultivate, and secure new equity commitments from accredited investors; secondary focus on debt capital.
  • $5M target equity raise for 2025-2026.
  • $25M target debt management for annual demand for 2025-2026.
  • Nurture existing investors + manage CRM of 500+ contacts and double each year.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with family offices and institutional partners as part of VestCapitals three-year roadmap.
  • Manage investor pipeline with measurable KPIs (capital raised, new investors converted, institutional contacts established).
  • Lead equity and debt capital campaigns across VestCapital projects.

Financial Systems & AppFolio Mastery

  • Serve as the internal owner of AppFolio , ensuring all investor data, capital accounts, distributions, and reports are accurate and reconciled.
  • Partner with finance / accounting to deliver real-time dashboards and reporting transparency.
  • Identify and implement system improvements to scale investor operations as assets under management grow.
  • Investor Communication & Marketing

  • Execute VestCapitals investor communication calendar with precision : quarterly reports, webinars, deal launches, newsletters, and portfolio updates.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure consistent, brand-aligned investor messaging.
  • Create investor-facing presentations, decks, and deal summaries to support capital raising.
  • Business Development & Representation

  • Represent VestCapital at networking events, investor gatherings, golf tournaments, shooting events, and industry tradeshows.
  • Develop new investor relationships through both structured outreach and organic connections.
  • Support investor event sponsorships and manage on-site investor experiences.
  • Compliance & Strategic Insights

  • Ensure compliance with securities regulations and internal disclosure standards across all communications.
  • Monitor market trends and investor sentiment, providing insights to leadership to strengthen capital strategies.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven track record in capital raising, investor relations, or private equity fundraising (real estate preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen; capable of reading financial statements and explaining returns to investors.
  • Experience with AppFolio or equivalent investor / accounting systems strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex financial information into clear messaging.
  • Highly relational and confident in business development settings (golf, dinners, tradeshows, private investor meetings).

    Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.

  • Proficiency with investor relations tools, Appfolio, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
