Senior Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist who thrives on getting things done. This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience across core HR functions and can confidently take ownership of day-to-day operations, particularly in the areas of leaves of absence, benefits administration, and general HR compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone who's ready for growth. As our company evolves, this position is expected to grow into a leadership role.
This position is hybrid. Work from home and come onsite to our Garden Grove office. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Benefits Administration
- Own and manage the end-to-end benefits administration process, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment
- Serve as the point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and vendor communications
- Partner with brokers and carriers to resolve issues and support benefit strategy implementation
Leave Management
Administer and manage all employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, state / local leaves, and company-specific policiesEnsure compliance with all applicable laws and maintain accurate records and documentationSupport employees and managers through the leave process with clear communication and guidanceHR Operations & Compliance
Support general HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and maintaining HRIS data integrityMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend and implement updates as neededManage employment verifications, I-9 compliance, and other HR documentationEmployee Support & Experience
Act as a day-to-day resource for employees and managers on HR policies and proceduresHandle employee inquiries with a service-minded approach and always maintain confidentiality and professionalismPartner with the Director on process improvements that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiencyPerform any other duties and projects assignedWho You Are
Able to ensure benefits and leave processes are running smoothly and accuratelyMake sure employees feel supported, informed, and trust HR to get things doneHandle day-to-day HR issues with confidence and clarityBring ideas for improvement and proactively identify gaps in current processesStrong, hands-on experience managing employee leaves of absence and benefits administrationPossess in-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)Have excellent time and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesIs a clear, concise communicator who can work independently and takes ownership of workWhat You'll Need
High school diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or another similar discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience in lieu of education)Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or operations-focused rolePrior experience with HRIS systems; comfort with Excel / Google Sheets, and benefits platformsDistraction-free home workspace with a secure internet connectionNice To Haves
