Role
The Senior People Partner (HR Business Partner) will enable business success, amplify our culture, and increase organizational effectiveness through Cohesity's People Strategy. This role will support the Sales (WWFO) organization, reporting to the Director, People Partner - WWFO.
How you'll spend your time
- Strategic partner / trusted advisor to key executives and their organizations. Works closely with senior executives and their leadership teams to define and execute business strategies that enable growth and transformation.
- Defining and executing strategic global HR solutions.
- Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to revise business strategies into actions that deliver results.
- Drive a high-performance culture across the organizations you support.
- Establish a deep understanding of Cohesity's overall business and strategy.
- Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent initiatives to identify and execute against current and future talent needs.
- Lead organizational change efforts.
- Engage as a consultant and coach to key leaders and their respective organizations while translating business needs into People plans and initiatives.
- Drive efforts to build upon our culture, values, and overall employee experience.
- Be proactive with people managers and leaders to ensure we are building high-performing organizations.
- Become a "business first, HR second" HR professional — using HR skills, programs and initiatives to engage with the business.
- Collaborate with peer People and Places HR leaders to provide a global, then local, approach to opportunities and initiatives.
- Deliver all HR programs such as performance assessments, promotions, succession planning, and employee engagement plans with excellence and global consistency.
- Lead with data and metrics to guide decision-making.
- Understand change management needs to work with and guide people managers.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence to develop value-added solutions.
- Partner with functional and regional counterparts to influence global strategic alignment.
- Analyze business and employee insights and metrics to drive system improvements.
- Drive and, at times, lead company-wide talent initiatives, collaborating for global success for Cohesity.
- Cultivate and maintain deep and broad connections to inform a well-rounded perspective on the organization and culture.
We'd love to talk to you if you have many of the following
BA / BS or equivalent plus 8+ years of relevant People Partner experience, with a strong preference supporting sales teams.Strong cross-functional partnerships and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior leaders, including executive leadership.A can-do attitude, agility in navigating changes, and the ability to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Seeks, collects, and synthesizes information from multiple stakeholders and data sources to drive change.Ownership of HR programs and performance management activities within the business.A business-first mindset and understanding of Cohesity's portfolio to apply HR solutions.Competence in HR functions : employee engagement, performance management, total rewards, learning and development, data and analytics, etc.Prior experience with a technology company; cloud, BI / analytics, or PaaS setting preferred.Well-versed in employee engagement and performance management best practices.Ability to work out of our Heredia, Costa Rica office a minimum of 2-3 days a week.Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws : This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends on factors including skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commission (if in a sales function), and / or equity grants. Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k), life and disability insurance, and other benefits.
Pay Range : $125,120.00-$156,400.00
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized rate assuming normal full-time employment.
