The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Network and On-prem Engineer. The position will be part of the Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team (NTT), which is responsible for the triaging and troubleshooting of high severity issues that impact Fidelity Investments and our external customers. The issues range from network down devices to application slowness, connectivity problems, Storage issues, network blips etc. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fundamental networking technologies, network security, software-defined networking, infrastructure as code, extensive experience with at least one CSP.
The Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team is made up of engineers with the philosophy of, we need to identify and mitigate the issue as quickly as possible to provide the best customer experience. If you love to continuously learn, create, and improve, then this might be the challenge you're looking for. If your long-term goal is to have fun with technologies outside of traditional networking like serverless, ML, AI, then we might be able to share in the fun!
