Tax Manager

We are a 20-person CPA firm that is located in Oakbrook Terrace. We have been serving the Chicagoland area for over 102 years and counting. We are a full-service firm offering Tax, Accounting, Audit, Business Consulting, and Estate Planning services to a wide range of clients. Most of our clients are in the Chicagoland / Northern Indiana area and span all industries. We focus on closely held businesses and the families attached to them. We are a family firm that has zero plans of merging, selling, or being acquired by private equity. We have a confident succession plan with 2 younger partners and 2 partners who are looking to retire soon.

We are looking for an experienced individual who wants to join the team and become a leader of the firm. We are looking to replace a partner who has strong trust & estate experience, so ideally, we would bring someone in who is confident in working in this space. You will not work exclusively with trust & estate clients, but you will share a higher percentage than other associates.

What you Need

• 5+ Years in Public Accounting
• Active CPA or EA
• Expertise in Business and Individual Tax
• Privately Held Businesses
• HNWIs, Partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps
• Clients generating ($5 million - $75 million in annual revenue)
• Strong working knowledge of trust & estate client situations and returns
• Experience Training, Mentoring, and Supervising Multi-Person Teams

Base Salary : $120,000-$150,000
