Departmental Specialist
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position : This position functions as a specialist for the Capital Outlay Program for the Department. This position is the point of contact for the State Budget Office and state agencies receiving Enterprisewide Funding for capital projects. This position is responsible for legislative reporting on capital outlay funded college and university projects. This position is responsible for recommending program policies and procedures and for coordination of statewide capital funding by coordinating, tracking, and reporting on $120+ million in projects and contracts annually. This position also analyzes and determines corrective actions to facilitate contractual payments to vendors and oversees and reports on collection of administrative fees for the Design and Construction Division.

Required Education and Experience :
Education : Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience : Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
