Server

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented dining room Servers. Experience in a full-service restaurant is needed. As a server, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. RBs (Responsible Beverage Service) certificated required for CA locations. Foodhandler Card required.

What we're looking for :

Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills

Skilled at reading the table and can anticipate your guests' needs

Team player; you're always willing to give and ask for help

At least six months of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

• Must be able to weekends and ALL holidays (except Christmas Day)

Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.

Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen

Continuous table maintenance

Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion
