Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our team of cardiovascular specialists. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and medical management rather than catheter-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert evaluation and management of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease.
- Interpret and perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, echocardiography, and Holter monitoring.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient history.
- Counsel patients on risk factor modification, including diet, exercise, and medication adherence.
- Coordinate care with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac surgeons, and primary care physicians.
- Participate in inpatient rounding and consultative services as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Contribute to clinical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications :
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.Completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship.Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.Valid and unrestricted medical license in State of Florida.Strong clinical acumen and a commitment to evidence-based practice.Preferred Skills :
Expertise in non-invasive cardiac imaging (e.g., echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT / MRI) is a plus.Excellent communication and patient education skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Interest in preventive cardiology and long-term patient management.Benefits :
