Fabricator / Assembler C - 2nd Shift

This is a 2nd shift role, the work schedule is : Monday-Friday, 2pm-10 : 30pm Pacific Time

SUMMARY

Performs manual and mechanical duties to assist in operations of a variety of limited equipment and tools in the fabrication and assembly of foam and / or plastic containers through the operation of tools and equipment, and reading simple prints, drawings and specifications.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs various operations of simple fabrications and / or assembly.
• Picks parts and supplies from inventory as instructed.
• Assists in set up and operates cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, drill presses, hand and power tools, etc.
• Cuts stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed.
• Performs gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations as instructed. Performs required masking and painting.
• Reviews product specifications on simple jobs. Performs required tests, visual inspections, dimension checks, etc. Detects any out of specification condition and notifies a lead person or manager.
• Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and / or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
