What We're Looking For
We are seeking a full-time Commercial Electrical Project Manager with a passion for service and commercial construction.
- Collaborates with the EPS Sales Team and Project Managers to determine the best approach, value, pricing needs for commercial electrical projects.
- Partners with the Electrical Division by developing and delivering effective and competitive bid proposals and estimates of commercial electrical projects and change orders.
- Develops new relationships and maintains established relationships with customers and contractors to assist the Sales Team in soliciting additional opportunities through growth sales.
- Responsible for ordering and procuring materials through Remarcable and renting equipment through approved vendors as needed for projects and service calls.
- Ensures EPS's best efforts are represented, including profitability and cost control for each project.
- Responsible for following up with customers before, during, and after the project with clear communication regarding project status ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Completes all required project documents and paperwork including work orders, materials used, and providing information for accurate billing and estimates to customers.
- Works closely with the assigned Project Manager and Field Supervisor to determine labor needs for commercial projects, installation, and project closeout and completion.
- Transmits awarded project scope of work to field leads and other bid information to subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
- Develops and maintains strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor setting project objectives and ensures final project meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
- Continuously and proactively seek opportunities with customers advising them of the services EPS can provide and in turn shares information with EPS Project Managers and Service Department Manager.
- Promotes and follows EPS company philosophy, processes, values, and safety requirements.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Two-year technical associate degree in electrical estimating, project management, or construction management, or similar discipline.At least 5 to 10 years of experience estimating, preparing commercial electrical bids, and knowledge of project management in electrical applications and systems.Must also have knowledge of AutoCAD or estimating software.Ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and the ability to react and provide effective solutions.Strong understanding of commercial electrical applications and installation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Outstanding customer service skills and a keen sense for detail.Qualifications Set You Apart
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to electrical applications and systems.Strong commercial electrical project management and estimating skills.Experience in Commercial Electrical Applications.Expertise in AutoCAD and other estimating software.Proficiency with business software, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.Our Total Rewards

Starting compensation is based on your relevant job experienceThis role is exempt and a salaried position that is bonus eligible.The salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year.Physical Requirements / Essential Functions
