Primary Care Physician / Medical Director
New Orleans, LA
We are seeking a dynamic physician leader to provide and oversee patient care for the medically complex & socially vulnerable members of the New Orleans Community. Work with integrated care teams, including physicians, advanced practice practitioners, nurse care managers, social workers, behavioral health therapists, peer counselors, dietitians, pharmacists, and community outreach workers to help transform the lives ofc community members.
Daily Duties :
- Administration work vs. Clinical ratio : 70% | 30%
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate with health plan medical directors, local hospitals, specialists, and community organizations to improve outcomes and reduce fragmentation of care.
- Lead the medical center in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care through a comprehensive “one-stop shop” approach within an NCQA-certified Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model, supported by Complex Care Management.
- Implement strategic medical operations and protocols in order to achieve company's contracted goals.
- Evaluate the current medical operations and operations of the entire medical center to ensure compliance and contractual obligations.
Primary Care Physician Requirements :
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and Licensed physician in the state of LAACLS Certification4 Plus years of experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial InsurancesAbility to treat the acutely ill in an outpatient setting offering hydration, IV antibiotics, wound care, and other services.Benefits :
Compensation Range : $260k to $300k
