Construction QA Engineer (Drawsko, Poland)

Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking a qualified Construction Quality Assurance Engineer to provide comprehensive QA services for a construction / engineering project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and identifying corrective actions to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

This is contigent to the award of the contract.

Key responsibilities :

• Inspect and provide feedback on the Contractor's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Monitor the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the Contractor's QMS.
• Review and provide comments on the Contractor's RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
• Conduct material inspections and provide acceptance recommendations.
• Witness and record quality control tests conducted by the Contractor.
• Maintain a systematic record of all Contractor submittals and design reviews.
• Identify and report on any construction deficiencies.
• Record and distribute minutes of meetings (weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc).
• Review and verify daily and weekly reports submitted by the Contractor.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress and ad-hoc issue reports.
• Provide reach-back support to NSPA HQ when required.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualifications to be successful in the role :

Proficient in engineering and management software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.
