Pay : $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Job Overview :
Insight Contracting is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to join our team. This role requires a Master’s License in Boone County and the City of Columbia to perform commercial and residential electrical maintenance for construction developments in and around Columbia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. You will be expected to work independently, while maintaining high safety standards, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Electrical Systems Maintenance : Install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various electrical systems, including AC / DC wiring, outlets, lighting, and fixtures.
- Breaker Boxes & Panels : Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair breaker boxes and electrical panels to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshooting : Use testing equipment like ohmmeters and voltmeters to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Electrical Wiring : Install and maintain high- and low-voltage electrical wiring systems, ensuring they comply with city and OSHA standards.
- Inspection & Reporting : Inspect and test electrical systems, providing reports or repair directives to maintain compliance with City of Columbia , OSHA , and NEC regulations.
- Tenant Communication : Troubleshoot work orders with tenants over the phone and in-person, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions.
- Inventory Management : Keep a clean and organized inventory in company storage and vehicles, ensuring tools and supplies are ready for each job.
- Emergency & On-Call Service : Provide on-call services on rotation as defined by our Emergency Maintenance Standards .
- Unit Turn Maintenance : Perform electrical work during unit turns within set deadlines to ensure the unit is ready for new tenants.
- Budget Management : Assist the supervisor in ordering maintenance supplies while staying within budgetary constraints.
- Safety Protocols : Wear PPE as needed and ensure safety standards are adhered to during all tasks.
- Record Keeping : Log accurate time and detailed work records using a service-tracking app on a mobile device.
- Tracking Protocols : Adhere to and actively promote company tracking protocols and procedures, including using data for billing confirmation, emergency response optimization, safe-driving habits, and recording driving data in case of an incident.
- Team Collaboration : Work with other technicians to ensure efficient maintenance operations and minimal callbacks.
- Communication : Maintain clear communication with management, tenants, and team members to ensure effective and timely resolution of issues.
- Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the overall maintenance function.
Minimum Qualifications :
Driver’s License : Valid driver’s license and corporate-insurable driving record.Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Licensing : Master’s License in Boone County and City of Columbia .Experience : 2+ years of electrical work experience in residential , commercial , or industrial settings.Certifications : OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.Skills : Ability to read blueprints , wiring diagrams , and electrical codes .Physical Requirements : Ability to grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and use various trades tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50-80 lbs.).Additional Considerations :
