Operations Assistant (Part-Time), The Barn at Reynolda Village (Winston-Salem)

Assist the Operations Manager with overseeing venue operations, managing the facility and inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service for clients. This is a part-time position averaging 15-20 hours per week. Working hours will vary depending on scheduled events at The Barn.

Essential Functions :

• Responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Review and implement requirements outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) forms.
• Assist with the physical set-up and break-down of event facilities, as needed (lifting, moving, and arranging tables, chairs, furniture etc.).
• Store equipment and materials neatly.
• Refresh function areas during functions : tidy up rooms, restock, and tidy restrooms.
• Clean and mop all rooms of the facility, as needed.
• Empty trash from all function areas, as needed.
• Assist with vendor and consultant relationships.
• Assist with monitoring planned vendor deliveries.
• Assist with oversight of vendor and guest compliance with policies.
• Inspect and report all maintenance issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
