Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping patients navigate their healthcare needs? Join our team as a Customer Service Representative, where you'll provide professional, courteous support for patient and insurance inquiries through phone, email, and in person. You'll also play an active role in maintaining patient accounts, ensuring accuracy, and supporting quality control efforts.

Starting at $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include :

• Professionally answering, forwarding, and logging incoming calls as directed by the Central Business Office (CBO) Manager or Supervisor.
• Understanding insurance and patient responsibilities related to account balances and billing.
• Resolving verbal and written patient account inquiries and escalating complex issues to Leads, Accounts Receivable, or supervisors when necessary.
• Accurately processing patient payments and applying them to accounts.
• Managing and forwarding incoming mail following department protocols.
• Documenting all communication related to patient accounts in the billing system.
• Collaborating with other departments to address and resolve account inquiries effectively.
• Providing feedback on changes in payer plans, contracts, or billing information to the CBO team.
• Maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assisting with additional tasks as assigned when not managing inbound calls.
