Photography Instructor (Part-Time Faculty Pool) Madera Community College
Madera Community College seeks a Photography Instructor for a part-time faculty position. The ideal candidate will share the college’s commitment to educating its diverse student population.
Responsibilities include teaching Photography courses, using a variety of pedagogies, and integrating instructional delivery systems. The instructor will also be responsible for communicating effectively with students, faculty, and staff, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom records.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in photography, fine arts, or art, or a Bachelor’s degree in any of the above and a Master’s degree in art history or humanities. A valid California Community College Credential or equivalent education and / or experience is also acceptable.
Desirable qualifications include experience incorporating elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion into teaching practices, recent experience working with diverse student populations, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
