Summary :
Evanhoe and Associates is seeking a Software Developer to support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEP II) effort currently underway at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).
This position is onsite with shifts during nights and weekends.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., data transfer architectures, manipulation of extremely large data sets, message processing) based on documented requirements.
Work individually or as part of a team.
Review and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test resultsResolve software problem reportsUtilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environmentProvide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial-Off-the-shelf (COTS) / Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis, and synthesis from system level to individual software componentsNecessary Skills and Knowledge :
Demonstrated experience and / or familiarity with RedHat, Linux, CentOS and / or UNIXMinimum Qualifications :
Possess 4-6 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Possess an active TS / SCI clearancePossess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related discipline from an accredited college or university.In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree, for a total of eight (8) years of experience.
Required Technical Skills :Experience with Java, C / C++, Python
Experience with JavaScript (React) web developmentExperience with RESTful Web ServicesExperience with Linux (Red Hat 7 / 8) systemsExperience with Java, C / C++, PythonExperience with MySQL (MariaDB), PostgreSQLExperience with Git version controlExperience with Amazon Web ServicesPreferred Qualifications :
