We are currentlyseeking a Manufacturing Department Manager to lead operations in Large PowerTransformer production. This role requires a strong commitment to safety-firstleadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The idealcandidate will drive performance, collaborate across teams, and supportstrategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and reliability. How you'll make an impact
Safety andCompliance : Ensureadherence to OSHA and Siemens Energy safety standards, promote a strongsafety culture, and maintain full compliance with EHS regulations throughtraining, audits, and risk assessments.
OperationsManagement : Overseedaily manufacturing activities, coordinate production schedules, andmonitor key performance indicators (safety, quality, delivery, cost,inventory) to meet customer commitments.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration : Workclosely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management toresolve production issues and align operations with business goals.
Leadership andTeam Development : Manage and mentor production staff, support workforceplanning, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
ContinuousImprovement : ApplyLean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks,improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process efficiency.
Budget and CostControl : Supportbudget planning, control production costs, and identify cost-savingopportunities while maintaining safety and quality standard
What You Bring
Education : Bachelor's degreein electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or IndustrialEngineering.
Experience : Minimum 10 yearsin manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership or peoplemanagement role; experience in transformer manufacturing or heavyelectrical equipment is preferred.
TechnicalExpertise : Skilledin production planning, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certificationpreferred), TPM, OEE, and continuous improvement; strong knowledge of OSHAand EHS compliance.
Systems Knowledge : Familiaritywith ERP systems such as SAP or HANA, and experience with quality control,root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Leadership &Soft Skills : Provenability to lead and develop high-performing teams; strong communication,problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; collaborative andresults-driven.
Language &Mobility : Fluentin English with willingness to travel occasionally and relocate for theposition.
