Company Description and Job Summary

Accumet Engineering Inc , is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the customer supplied drawing as well as quality notes and dimensional measurement requirements. The Quality Inspectors will utilize multiple visual inspection devices and measurement tools determined by the specific needs of each Job.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Record inspection results and communicate with production team on any necessary adjustments
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in the products
• Ensure compliance to safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in training new inspectors on quality standards and inspection procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and reduce waste
• Complete any additional Quality Related Tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.

Requirements

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
