Position Summary
We are seeking a purpose-driven, strategic VP or Director of Marketing (title based on experience) to lead the advertising and marketing efforts for Seoul Medical Group (SMG) and Korean American Medical Group (KAMG) — two leading healthcare organizations serving the Asian American community.
In this role, you will oversee external agency relationships, drive consumer-facing campaigns, and partner cross-functionally to build brand presence, awareness, and trust. This is a unique opportunity to help steward two culturally rooted brands through a period of growth and evolution , as we work to deepen our connection with the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of two external marketing agencies , ensuring aligned strategy, clear messaging, and measurable outcomes across all media channels.
- Develop and execute culturally attuned, consumer-facing campaigns — especially during Medicare Advantage enrollment periods (OEP, AEP, SEP).
- Support a mission-critical brand consolidation , bringing together SMG and KAMG into a unified identity that reflects shared values, vision, and commitment to care.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (digital, community, broker engagement, brand, provider relations) to ensure messaging consistency and campaign support.
- Serve as the strategic and operational bridge between legacy campaigns and the future-state brand, including input on brand architecture , voice and tone , and community storytelling .
- Monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and optimize results across traditional and digital channels.
- Ensure operational excellence in budgeting, timeline management, and internal approvals.
Qualifications
8–15 years of experience in consumer marketing , with a strong background in agency management and multicultural brand strategy .Prior experience in healthcare , Medicare Advantage , or mission-driven sectors preferred.Track record of leading complex campaigns and managing multiple brand streams or transitions.Passion for community-focused storytelling , empathy-driven messaging, and inclusive branding.Excellent communicator and collaborator across cross-functional teams.Korean language proficiency a plus, but not required.Why This Role Matters
