Overview

Hybrid Remote Legal Assistant Position with Growing Firm. This Jobot Job is hosted by Sharon Brown.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000 per year.

What you'll do

• Draft, proofread, and edit various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing all aspects of legal case management from discovery through trial preparation including organizing case files, maintaining case calendars, and tracking filing deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation to support case preparation.
• Review, analyze, and summarize legal documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team such as answering phones, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining the department's filing system.
• Liaise with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals in a professional and ethical manner.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
