Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator supporting our newly installed fabrication line. You will work on a rotating day shift schedule, gaining hands-on experience with CNC machinery, particularly Haas or Brothers 4-5 axis machines. This role focuses on operating, monitoring, and performing quality checks without the need for changeovers, ensuring seamless production of parts.

Responsibilities

• Make precise adjustments and troubleshoot to meet quality and tolerance standards.
• Maintain high productivity while minimizing material waste and operational costs.
• Operate a variety of machine tools for precision and progressive machining tasks.
• Use hand tools, cutting tools, measuring instruments, and machine tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision instruments.
• Measure, inspect, and test completed parts for defects and specification adherence.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and raw materials onto machines.
• Monitor machine operations for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust controls accordingly.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety protocols.
• Support team operations by assisting in other areas and performing additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work within a non-climate controlled, industrial manufacturing environment where you will be engaging directly with industrial CNC and fabrication machinery. The position entails working on a day shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with rotating days of the week, requiring flexibility to work any day. The environment may be hot in summer and cold in winter.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
