Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated machinist helper to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our machinist shop employees, ensuring the machines are set-up and ready to run parts. Your responsibilities will include setting up jobs, reading blueprints, adjusting tool offsets. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and work ethnic.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up machines
  • Daily maintenance on machines
  • Inspecting part to blue prints specs
  • Dumping chips into holding dumpster
  • Being able to adjust programs
  • Housekeeping around your machine
  • Maintain an organized work area
  • Maintain relevant machine shop procedures

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED required, Associates degree
  • Previous experience as an machinist or in a similar position
  • Familiarity with standard lathe and milling equipment such as Haas VF5, VF2, ST35, ST25
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Fusion 360, UR10 E Robot
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
