Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. 7 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and / or test matrices. Standard office equipment. Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms. Knowledge of DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. Skill in whitebox testing, integration testing Selenium Puppeteer Appium The preferred candidate should have experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). The preferred candidate should have knowledge of ServiceNow. The preferred candidate should have experience testing Web applications. Team oriented Effective communication Flexible (being able to adapt), and Detail orientated
Overview
Role : Sr. Analyst, System Testing I
Location : Columbia, SC (Partial Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and as needed.)
Duration : 11 months (possibility of extension)
C2 clearance eligibility is required.
The Team
The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client's operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
Duties
- Provide service for multiple clients.
- Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
- Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.
- 40% Perform application testing analysis and lead activities that may include leading the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and matrices, attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.
- 30% Create test cases, execute testing, and document results.
- Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
- Lead process improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies and techniques.
- Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows.
- 30% Provide service for multiple clients, which may include onsite service where needed.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with customers to understand and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.
