Job Description

We are looking for an experienced UI / UX Designer to drive discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing activities for internal and external applications. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week onsite in Trenton, NJ.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other designers to balance user needs and business requirements, ensuring delivery of user-centered experiences
• Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify complex processes to reduce cognitive load and minimize user errors
• Utilize the existing Design System and UI styles to maintain design consistency across applications
• Create clickable prototypes to test design assumptions and hypotheses
• Work with multiple application teams to deliver project-required deliverables on time
• Perform design quality assurance during development
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and creating user journey maps
• Ensure designs and code are accessible to all users, adhering to WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines

$58 - $68 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
