Proficient with ophthalmology, including vitrectomies

Description :

The position requires a surgical technician to support various surgical procedures.

Nights are the designated shift for this role.

A commitment to working 40 hours per week is required.

Call duties are part of the expectation for this role.

On-call shifts will vary based on the primary schedule, with one 24-hour call every 3-4 weeks.

Float requirements will depend on the skillset and unit needs.

Flu and COVID vaccinations are mandatory unless exceptions for medical or religious reasons are provided.

The setting is a busy community hospital with a capability of managing a variety of cases, including adults, ortho, neuro, general, vascular, robotics, gyn, and urology.

The role primarily focuses on circulating duties.

Open heart surgeries and trauma cases are not performed.

The facility conducts approximately 400 surgeries each month.
