The Director, Corporate Valuations at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a wide range of responsibilities to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Director, Corporate Valuations should be prepared to work within a small, collaborate team environment to manage discrete work streams.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Portage Point team and our clients to develop comprehensive valuation solutions
• Perform valuation analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments broadly distributed across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory
• Interview clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and pertinent information
• Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality, tailored solutions and providing proactive strategic advice
• Help manage existing client relationships as well as pitch new business to both existing and new clients
• Report and present analyses and conclusions both verbally and in written reports
• Provide professional development coaching to junior team members
• Share and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required
• Support business development efforts
• Support talent acquisition and firm development efforts
• Contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive culture

Qualifications

$375,000 - $525,000 a year

The City of New York and the State of California require Portage Point to provide compensation information for this role. This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant's qualifications (education, training and / or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
