Job Summary :

The Medical Assistant is essential in delivering basic clinical care to patients and will work in alignment with their medical education. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled based on availability and need.

Key Responsibilities :

The following duties illustrate the expectations for this role but are not exhaustive :

• Warmly greet patients upon entering the waiting area, exam room, or laboratory.
• Effectively communicate with patients regarding wait times and guidance through the treatment process.
• Identify patient problems and address emergent situations proactively.
• Conduct timely follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out as needed.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, weight, brief histories, and other relevant medical information.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under the provider's supervision.
• Complete required documentation related to patient visits diligently.
