This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. You will ensure data integrity and consistency while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Enter and update data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, and systems
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Review data for errors or deficiencies and correct any incompatibilities
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as requested
Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and paper records
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Follow company procedures and data entry protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role
Fast typing skills (40–60 wpm) with high accuracy
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data entry software
Familiarity with administrative duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with database systems or CRM platforms
Knowledge of data confidentiality and data protection guidelines
Ability to work in a remote or hybrid environment if required
