Production Supervisor

Location : Elk Run Heights, IA

Salary : $65,000.00 USD Annually - $72,000.00 USD Annually

Description : Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for their large facility in IA. This role is essential for maintaining high production levels, quality, and yield while ensuring a safe working environment.

They are looking for someone who has experience coming from a beef or pork or poultry meat packing facility. Experience with slaughter, cut up, and packaging required.

This is a 2nd shift role 2 : 30pm to 1 : 00am Mon-Fri and there is additional 6th and 7th day pay for when / if you work weekends. Relocation assistance is offered as well as a chance for upward mobility.

This job will have the following responsibilities :

• Managing the production process and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensuring proper staffing and line maintenance.
• Checking daily production orders and ensuring all positions are filled before start-up.
• Overseeing morning exercises and job rotation.
• Ensuring machinery and workstations meet high standards and pass USDA inspections.
• Promoting safety daily and through monthly meetings.
• Ensuring accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
• Communicating company benefits and policies to team members.
• Providing encouragement and handling human relations functions such as training, retention, and counseling.
