This position has a hybrid work schedule with an average 2 days per week in the corporate office located in Knoxville.

Overview

The Business Analyst Arbitration Strategy is responsible for the analysis, reporting, and documentation of outcomes as required for the business' vision and needs. This role will focus on supporting the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process under the No Surprises Act and relevant state regulations, with a primary emphasis on analyzing outcomes after arbitration. This role provides actionable insights to improve future IDR submissions, enhance negotiation strategies, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position is part of the billing centers and billing support departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze post-arbitration outcome data, including financial awards, payer / provider win rates, and time to resolution
• Review and analyze out of network paid claims that are not selected for a dispute resolution process to evaluate opportunities to expand coverage
• Identify patterns and trends in arbitration decisions to inform business strategy
• Recommend changes to future IDR submissions and negotiation approaches based on outcome analysis
