THIS RECRUITMENT IS TO FILL ONE FULL-TIME VACANCY IN THE PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT AND TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST TO BE USED FOR FUTURE VACANCIES.
SUMMARY
Under general supervision prepare engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; discussing these findings with the plant engineer. Assists with regulatory inspections, testing, and reporting, while providing recommendations for improving equipment efficiency and operational longevity. Provides additional support for all environmental compliance items. Assists with reviews and development of engineering changes to the power plant.

Education, Training and Experience Guidelines
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; AND five (5) years of experience in specialized and technical engineering, repair and maintenance of systems and equipment. Knowledge of :

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid class C California State Driver's License is required. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is highly desired.
