Summary of Role :

GlobalFoundries' Tax & Subsidies Team is looking for eager interns to join their team and help manage, analyze, and visualize the vast amounts of available data needed for tax accounting, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and overall tax planning. This intern position will provide opportunities to work with people across the company's Tax & Subsidies Team as well as across the broader Finance Team.

Essential Responsibilities include :

• Analyze actual and potential accounting transactions and perform research as needed
• Assist in developing and optimizing Alteryx workflows to automate complex financial calculations involving actual, budgeted, and forecasted data
• Support the analysis and modeling of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing impacts on corporate tax metrics, including effective tax rates
• Collaborate with the Tax & Subsidies team to design tools that streamline data processing and enhance reporting accuracy for global tax compliance
• Contribute to documentation and testing of automation solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with internal financial systems
