Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, bank, and accounts payable.

Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS accounting standards.

Support audits and provide documentation as required.

Analyze financial data and report variances to management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve accuracy.

Requirements

Required Skills and Competencies :

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) .

Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks .

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .

Good organizational and time-management abilities .

Effective communication and interpersonal skills .

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2–5 years of accounting experience , preferably with exposure to cash, bank, and accounts payable functions.

CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
