Great work environment!! JOIN our team!! Elizabeth Nursing and Rehab Center is currently seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated care team. The RN plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation facility. This position involves supervising staff, monitoring residents’ health, and ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes in clinical records
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to ensure coordinated care
Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including infection control and safety protocols
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed
Educate residents and families on health management and wellness
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions
Qualifications :
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
CPR certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred)
Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate nursing staff
