Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering activities for large, extensive projects.
• Manages project engineering and related functions and activities. Includes personnel planning and administration, and work assignments.
• Insures project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and supports overall construction schedule.
• Provides technical support for construction effort, including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
• Develops, implements, and administers project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
• Represents company, project and / or department during A / E, client and project management meetings.
• Interfaces all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensures quality of construction, etc., in support of overall project schedule.
• May be responsible for one or more small to medium sized projects.
• Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
