APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Benton Harbor, MI looking to add a Quality Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to inspect and verify parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Keep reading for more details!

Rotating 3- and 4-day work weeks.

What your day will look like :
Use CMMs and FCS fixtures per the Product Control Plan to perform inspections and review inspection reports.
Immediately report any out-of-tolerance features to the Quality Supervisor for disposition, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
Perform additional gauging not covered by CMM inspections and escalate results as required.
Monitor and document production scrap, setup scrap, and defects every 2–3 hours, maintaining accurate records of all dispositions.
Review job documentation and report any deviations from blueprints, PCIs, or work instructions.
Assist with product launches, PPAPs, machine setups, and prototype inspections as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations and company goals.
