Executive Director-Managed Care

Overview :

Guides and facilitates implementation of the Arkansas Health Partners joint venture in all markets,Leads managed care strategic assessment and development in all markets,Coordinates and supports network organizational development and integration of networks into managed care strategies and initiatives within and across markets, andOversees managed care contracting strategy and implementation taking into account AHP objectives, SSU needs and opportunities, and cross market issues and opportunities.Assess and support SSU opportunities to work with employer health benefit plans, including the development of provider-based initiatives and provider-employer partnerships by seeking interactions between employers, physicians and hospital resources as well as seeking to incorporate appropriate internet technology.

Qualifications :

• Location : R esides in Northwest Arkansas or Fort Smith
• Education : Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
• Experience : Eight years of progressive management experience in a complex organization dealing with managed care strategies and implementation issues. Must have frontline network development experience and be skilled in provider relations.
• Other :

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and credibly with physicians.
