We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Freelance Production Artist to join our client's Packaging Production team.

Salary / Hourly Rate

$30 / hr - $40 / hr

Position Overview

In this role as the Freelance Production Artist, you will work within established processes to prepare and refine files for print, ensuring everything meets technical specifications and quality standards. You will use your expertise in Adobe Illustrator to optimize images, fonts, scripts, symbols, and color profiles, helping to create accurate, print-ready files. This position is process-oriented and consistent in nature, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys precision, structure, and working within clear guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and refine files for print, including optimizing photography and creating production-ready files from provided briefs.
• Collaborate closely with teams across production, packaging development, and creative design.
• Must bring excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Work across various product categories, with a significant focus on projects for our sock brands.
