Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Preconstruction to lead their growing preconstruction function. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of estimating, contract management, scheduling, and value engineering who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Senior Director will be a trusted client-facing leader, responsible for scaling a high-performing team while driving strategy, process development, and collaboration across operations.

Duties

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the preconstruction function, including estimating, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Partner closely with operations to ensure seamless alignment between preconstruction deliverables and field execution.
• Develop and mentor a growing team, creating clear career pathways and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Take ownership of estimates, project pursuits, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Establish scalable systems and repeatable processes to support long-term growth.
• Represent the company in business development activities including client meetings, industry events, and sales presentations.
• Drive strategic initiatives to expand preconstruction capacity and improve margin performance.
