The new waterfront La Plage restaurant at the Delamar Mystic is seeking a hands-on and passionate Executive Sous Chef to manage the restaurant's daily culinary operations. The Executive Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to supervise food production, lead execution of the menu throughout services and manage the BOH team. He / she will also oversee special projects.
The ideal candidate will have a 3-5 years' fine dining experience . In-depth knowledge of French cuisine and techniques is strongly preferred. He / she must have diverse experience in all kitchen stations and positions, with an emphasis on a la minute cooking and great expediting skills.
The candidate must be a team player; he / she has the ability to lead by example and inspire team members to always maintain the highest quality and standards. A culinary degree is preferred.
