Role : Lead Cyber Security and System Administrator
Location : Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois
Minimum Clearance Required to Start : Secret

Responsibilities
- Documentation : Prepare, review, and submit cybersecurity documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures, Body of Evidence (BoE) documentation, Authority To Connect (ATC), and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.
- Systems Administration : Serve as a systems administrator to ensure smooth operation and compliance of all systems.
- Security Monitoring : Review audit log reports to identify and address potential security issues promptly.
- Workstation Configuration : Image and configure workstations to meet security standards.
- Technical Support : Track and resolve technical issues related to systems, peripherals, and network infrastructure.
- Network Installation : Install fiber and CAT5 / 6 cables to support network infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and fix issues with computers, cabling, VOIP devices, printers, multi-function devices, and VTC equipment.
- COMSEC Support : Help resolve issues with communications security devices.
- SCIF Maintenance : Assist in accrediting and maintaining the SCIF.
- Operational Compliance : Ensure systems remain operational, compliant, and connected to requisite networks.
- Vulnerability Management : Perform scans and apply necessary patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- VTC Operations : Set up and operate video teleconferencing equipment.
- Reporting : Send regular status reports to the ISSM and Project Manager.
- Documentation & Diagrams : Create and update network diagrams, floor layouts, and other essential documentation.
Qualifications
Required
An active DoD TS / SCI security clearance (Secret cleared individuals with exceptional qualifications will be considered).IAM Level II qualification for the DoD Information Assurance Workforce.CompTIA Security+ or higher certification.Extensive knowledge of NIST and DoD cybersecurity standards, guidelines, best practices, and RMF processes.Desired

Pay Range
The proposed salary range for this position is $85,800 - $180,200. Salary depends on location, experience, skills, and certifications.
