ABOUT THE JOB
The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Director will play the crucial role of aligning revenue and operational activities within Golden State Foods, by developing and managing the demand forecasts and capacity planning to meet customer needs and maximize profitability. This leader will facilitate Cross-Functional collaboration with commercial leadership, manufacturing, purchasing, distribution, and finance to integrate demand, supply, and financial planning.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Responsible for producing an integrated master plan based on demand forecast of existing portfolio and incoming new products introductions (commercialization’s) and multiple supply inputs as production capacity (owned and external network), vendors materials supply and other pertinent supply needs as distribution, warehousing and alike.
- This leader will work collaboratively with Commercial leadership, Manufacturing, Procurement (GSS), Logistics, Finance and DSD Sales Operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Responsible for leading the development of strategic plans to deliver on our growth objectives and improve overall supply chain performance via an effective S&OP process.
- Responsible for developing the demand forecast plan for LPNA, proposing strategies to improve forecast accuracy, and co-led along with commercial team the conversations with key stakeholders including customers for this purpose.
- This position will lead LPNA new product introductions (commercialization’s) on applicable supply chain responsibilities and integrate new demand in the S&OP process.
- This position will lead to the development and implementation of tools or technical solutions aiming to produce demand forecast and proper integration with the existing ERP-MRP systems.
- Responsible for developing and maintenance of appropriate capacity models for LPNA operations, ensure capacity models accuracy, and co-led conversations with operations leaders for this purpose.
- Manages and recommends supply strategy policy for GSF finished goods, defines the criteria to define what will be "Make to Order" (MTO), "Make to Stock" (MTS), "Assembled to Order" (ATO) for all product, monitors implementation and regularly verify compliance and / or needs of change.
- Defines and manages supply strategy definition process for new commercialized products of GSF as well as periodic review of strategy for existing portfolio of products.
- Maintains clear communication with Sales, Product Development, Commercialization, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Operations, and Procurement to ensure the organization’s affective plans.
Administrative :
Responsible for developing LPNA master plan integrating demand and supply inputs, ensuring alignment with Plant and LPNA Divisional Strategic objectives.Responsible for monitoring the adequacy of action plans to meet assigned LPNA objectives, monitoring performance toward achieving key performance indicators at division and site’s level and ensuring alignment throughout the entire organization.Supports onboarding, training and development of sites supply chain planning executives, participates in performance evaluations and career development. Assists in the recruitment and selection of SCM employees adhering to all company policies and objectives.Assist in the development of the annual budget for inventory, expenses and capex as appropriate.Develops and reports KPI metricsPerforms other related and assigned duties as necessary.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certification :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain, planning or other related majors from an accredited college or universitySupply Chain Certifications as ASCM / CPIM requiredExperience :
7 to 15 years of relevant work and / or supervisory experience in Planning, Scheduling and Logistics in a manufacturing environment.Food manufacturing environment experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, (B / basic; J / journey; E / expert) :
