About The Position We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology / Oncology Physician for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role begins on Nov 12, 2025, and offers a Wednesday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 4 : 30 pm, providing both inpatient and outpatient care for hematology and oncology patients. The assignment has a high chance of extension. Job Details Location : Indiana Start Date : Nov 12, 2025 LOA : 15 days Provider Type Needed : Hematology / Oncology Physician Schedule : Wednesday-Friday, 8 am-4 : 30 pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide outpatient and inpatient coverage for hematology and oncology patients Conduct 30-minute new patient visits and 15-minute follow-up appointments Participate in tumor board meetings on Tuesdays at 7 am Manage an average of 15-20 patients per day Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care Document patient encounters using Epic EMR Additional Information Active Indiana medical license required Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology is mandatory Experience with Epic EMR preferred Assignment may be extended based on client needs Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
