About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, small-sized company within the industrial and manufacturing industry across three entities. The Controller will oversee the accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead accounting and finance processes while driving efficiency and compliance.

Job Description

Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.

Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.

Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.

Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve department objectives.

Work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance

5+ years of experience in accounting and finance within the manufacturing industry

Management experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
