Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing customer invoicing, tracking financial reports, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in QuickBooks, data entry, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review customer invoices to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Maintain organized and up-to-date customer invoice files for easy retrieval and auditing.

Track invoices and compile relevant data for year-end financial reporting.

Generate quarterly financial reports to support operational and administrative needs.

Update and maintain monthly accruals reports to monitor work orders and project progress.

Utilize QuickBooks for efficient management of accounts receivable tasks.

Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy to support financial operations.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and standards.

Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve them promptly. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial tasks and reporting.

Strong skills in Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets.

Proven ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.

Familiarity with year-end closing processes and financial reporting.

Experience in preparing and maintaining accrual reports.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
