Junior Construction Estimator

Job Description

Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Junior Estimator to join our team. This person will be responsible for preparing accurate construction cost estimates, managing procurement, and supporting project execution from preconstruction through completion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and budgets.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and bids from subcontractors.
• Manage procurement processes, including trade negotiations and compliance with ethical guidelines.
• Track and assess changes in design or scope and calculate cost / time impacts.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Monitor project progress and help resolve delays or issues.
• Support contract review, negotiation, and compliance.
• Assist with financial tracking, cost control, and profitability.
• Draft reports such as cost breakdowns, monthly updates, and feasibility studies.
• Help avoid or resolve project disputes.
• Prepare tender documents and analyze bids.
