To thrive as a Part-Time Degreed Nutritionist in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program at The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras, you will need a Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a closely related field. Familiarity with the competencies specified by the California State Department of Health Supplemental Nutrition Program for WIC is essential for ensuring compliance and effective service delivery. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in a community health care services setting is preferred, equipping you with the practical knowledge necessary to address diverse nutritional needs effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to connect with clients and provide tailored support.
