Director of Finance And Accounting - Contract to Hire
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Hospital located on the southside of Chicago that is looking to bring on a Director of Finance & Accounting on a possible contract to hire basis. The opportunity is 100% onsite and the position would require the candidate to drive and implement process improvement in the accounting department. The person taking on this Director of Finance & Accounting would be responsible for the following duties :
Responsibilities :
- Manage the month end close function
- Be responsible for creating monthly / quarterly financials
- Present monthly / quarterly results to senior leadership
- Supervise 4 employees that are responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close
- Review the month end close function and identify areas for improvement; implement process improvements; and document procedures
- Prepare monthly reporting for leadership's review
